FIDE-rated chess events in Sofia 3

Only a few recurring events in Sofia state on their own pages that their games count for a FIDE rating. The Bulgarian Chess League says so of its individual corporate championship, played in January and November in the “Sofia” hall of the Metropolitan hotel; its team championships of October and May are held in the same hall.

The national university championships, organised by a university sports association in the canteen of the National Sports Academy in Students’ Town, have rated sections too, for teams in May and for individuals in November. Other events in the city may be rated as well, but this list holds only those whose pages or tournament rows say so.
